Journalism, publishing, digital and restaurant industry. These are the areas in which I have always worked and where I can say to have a great experience. I have always been focused in innovation and have often been a precursor. I’ve been the editor-in-chief and publisher of various magazines and press officer of many important events.
• In 2006 I founded “MangiaeBevi”, a guide dedicated to the best restaurants, always distributed with the Mondadori weekly magazine “Panorama”, which became later also web and mobile/app. MangiaeBevi now, after more than 10 years, is about to launch a new magazine (June 2016), dedicated to a gourmet audience, a brand new portal and redesigned apps.
• In 2009, with my digital company was among the first in Italy to deal with digital publishing and application development, bringing many magazines/publishers and companies on smartphones and tablets (300+).
• In 2012, first in Italy, I created VideoToGo®, an innovative multisensory advertising technology that grabs your audience’s attention and puts a spark in your printed materials and print advertising. A circuit board and LCD screen able to play high-resolution video and audio content in almost any kind of print media, to enhance clients’ marketing efforts and increase sales.
• In May 2016, I founded “menoo”, a web and mobile super fast service that allows users to order food from the best restaurants, pickup or delivery (home or office). In case of delivery you can follow it by the menoo app with a GPS system and display in real time the position of the driver, not employees, but people who want to have extra income. The menoodrivers are evaluated directly by the users, as well as for their speed, also for their efficiency and the quality of the service provided. Based on their “rating” they will get a higher number of deliveries and greater incentives. On May 11 started an equity crowdfunding campaign on Equinvest.it online platform.
• In March 2019, together with Belinda Bortolan, I founded the Bortolan & Carnevali, a marketing and communication agency focused on Restaurant, Hotellerie and Wine.
